The Murray Consultancy needed a modern and contemporary website to promote and publicise the company to a greater degree, act as a more effective lead generation and conversion tool than their existing site and perform better in search engine results than their closest competitors. The client also required certain elements of functionality including a blog facility, site-wide searches and links to partners across Europe.
Our challenge was to attract more visitors than the existing website which would lead to more conversions. The design had to be something befitting an internationally renowned award-winning company and the site had to compete with, and exceed, the SEO performance of competitors. In addition, the company employs tried, tested and thorough methods of market research and there is severe competition from less accurate, less analytical and cheaper online market research solutions (you get what you pay for) so the message of ‘doing things properly’ had to be clear.
We worked very closely with David to ensure the message of experience and scientific market analysis was clear. We used the company’s existing brand colours and logo to create a modern website design and used bold soundbitey straplines to deliver thought-provoking and high-impact statements. We included the company video to reduce the quantity of written copy and we made the site fully content managed so David could use the site effectively for promotion and as a marketing tool.
The website now ranks above its competitors in search engines for chosen search terms and there was over a 100% increase in traffic in the first three months since it was launched. Visits are increasing month on month and Cyberfrog Design was also added to the UK Trade and Investments’ list of recommended website suppliers as a result of our work with The Murray Consultancy.
