Spire’s old website was in its first incarnation and had not been redone since it was launched in 2004. With the huge increase in popularity of fine dining since then it was important that the website reflected the quality of the food and hospitality that the restaurant provides.
A restaurant site is almost like an art gallery site – the food and menu need to take centre stage and do the talking. It was important that the restaurant’s atmosphere and reputation were reflected in the final design to the extent that potential diners would want to make a reservation.
We liberally used high quality images to create a clean, fresh and contemporary design which perfectly ties in with the restaurant’s branding. We included easy-to-navigate food menus with a download facility (handy for booking office parties) made the site an altogether visual experience.
Due to the restaurant’s celebrity, the website is ridiculously well-used and the establishment’s reputation continues to grow. It ranks well in search engines appearing on page one for related search terms and top for some.
